I know shaft driven bikes are not a new concept, but this looks quite interesting.

Similar system than the Vatistinis 2WD. Not very interentig for MTB

And one thing: Ceramic is not the best. they last less that a good steel ball bearing (the stainless steel has problems of delamination, the ceramic has problems of durability)
