Downhill hardtail frame or bike WANTED

I'm looking for a small sized (15-17") hardtail frame or bike to compliment my 1996 Orange P7 build from last year. Please get in touch if you can help out.

Thanks for the ideas and offers. Having recently tried a Marin Rocky Ridge I have come to the conclusion that I'll need a small/15" frame with long travel forks. Moreover, I am inclining more towards a complete build (or close) rather than a project.

Any other offers appreciated.

Thanks again for the shouts. I'm looking for something a few years old. The Patriot sounds interesting and I'll send a pm. Cheers.

that pornking is a stunner of a frame.
i've seen a few azonic ds1 frames go cheap on ebay. it's a classic dj frame that is nice and small with a good top tube length.
orange msilse frames are excellent as well.

Thanks JimJim

I had to laugh because in the shed is an Azonic DS1 that my son built up some years back, with Marzocchi forks and a Haynes rear disc. He has said I can use it and that may be the way forward, until he needs is again. Mind you I'll need to fit some new cranks as the arms are bent and chain rings wobbling all over the place :)

I'm still thinking that I'd like an old Orange with a similar geometry. Since building my P7 (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=629558&sid=9e17709a02e9bb5b57d10396b0d529f1) courtesy of nice Retrobike folk I have got a taste for buying British.

Looking at some old catalogues suggests MsIsle and Airo and even Sub 5/Mr XC if I went fullsus. Any other suggestions appreciated.
