Same size and year as my '87 Kili, didn't realise the '87 Trekker was also UU until I saw this one and checked the catalogue, kind of nice and local too but I already have too many bikes.

A trekker without a wishbone rear stay is just a tufftrax really.

I think its the wishbone AND the UU that makes the trekkers so special, and the wishbone must have come the year after this.

Was cheap but expect it only made that due to being outed on here. Don't seem to go very high.

Got the trekker today. All very original, paint/powdercoat is a little ratty & faded but I like honest 'patina'.

The rear axle is still straight, which is unusual in my experience. Needs a new BB, mechs are fine as are chainrings.

I'm looking forward to getting it running, hopefully in time for a 70 mile charity road ride round N Devon in June.

Will pop a pic or two up in the Saracen Lovers Anonymous when I get the chance...
