its the glue remaining that used to hold the plastic spoke protector in place (or in other words your spoke protector is missing). tomacs mechanic used to bond his on using bathroom sealant.

as long as that other rip isnt affecting the actual cord I wouldnt worry about it.

Very nice, disc drive is on the list for the next but one project,, whats the front hub fella... looks nice n light..

Front hub... It´s made by Finnish company at mid 90´s.
They sponsored us and we had about 20 wheels.
This is still like new

About Tioga:
How tight it need to be`?
I know it´s hard to answer.

I just dont have a clue how much tighten nipels...
