p.s.are there photos of your knob on here?im interested as i have one in my stable.....

Surely I'm not the only person who found this question slightly dodgy? Is 'stable' slang for a body part?

To the OP - I just started racing XC last year having not done it since the early 1990s, I often wonder why the hell I am putting myself through such misery whilst I am actually on the bike but always feel fantastic after finishing (even the time I finished dead last!). Good luck and have fun.

did you see how i maturely avioded puns on the nob thing....... ;)

Well that was fun but quite hard , i think fitness levels seem to be a lot higher now but riders skills aren't as good ! so many people were falling off even when riding full sus bikes ! I had my cranks come loose which n didn't help but managed to complete it , although near the back !! can't wait for the next one

a couple of photos

Good pictures. not surprised that the full suser fell off. That's what happens when your bike handles like a 'space hopper'.
Good to see your going to anther :D

My brother and a mate did this race yesterday. My Bro came 20th in the Masters and my mate burnt out on the last lap of sport and ended up way down the order. Both enjoyed it though! :)
