Do modern Campagnolo cables work with retro groups ?

Specifically : Ergopower Ultra Shift cables... struggling to find a set of white Campagnolo brake and shift cables for an Athena 7 speed (index) build.

Anyone know ?

CRC did sell white cable outer by the 30m roll which is unbranded

White outer also available on eBay

Absolutely they will work but they're not cheap! Also, Campagnolo have (or certainly had last time I bought a set) stopped supplying the ferrules, which makes them doubly bad value for money.

Loads of places sell the lined outer cable and it will be fine for 7 speed! The only thing you really have to watch out for with generic inner wires is that the nipples fit the levers correctly and don't get stuck.
