DMR Trailstar MK1

Hey Guys and Girls,

Hope all is well, I saw a post on here a while back showing someone’s dmr Trailstar project. I’ve had one for around 6 years and have spent the last year building it up. I’ll get it powder coated soon and apply some new blue decals. I know it’s a bit arse about face but hey ho. Im also waiting for a restock of the head badge.
Anyway, I’ve included a few pics to show you.
I know dmr Trailstar decals are as rare as rocking horse *%+^ but someone at dmr managed to find me some mk1s, 2s and lts if anyone is interested.

I bought mine in 99/00 can’t quite remember to be honest. It’s been a trials bike, a xc machine, a dirt jumper, a commuter, museum piece, dual slalom project etc. But it’s always been there for me and I love it.

ahhh, the bike that made me build a duel slalom rig with stupid Jr T forks and 1 gear (in the 90's this was somewhat radical). I sold the frame in the end, wouldn't say no to another, but it was replaced by an aluminium tart of a bike that was sold under so many different names you could call it what you wanted.

both the above look delightful and ready to be abused, just like they should have been.

they are original dmr wingbar’s and the stem is a dmr drone stem. Upgrade bike ie Dmr have a page on ebay that they sell a few bits. My next plan is to get it powder coated and re stickered

Dmr are selling these again now so I got a few. Better than the sticker that’a for sure
