DMR Trailstar - BB dilema

im only interested in the black one pending a response from the seller

they normally go for around £50

if your wanting to repaint avoid the satin silver as its a strange finish that wouldnt be easy to remove

Talking of Trailstars, I bought my frame from ebay for £64 delivered a little while ago and to this day can't work out how old it is! It has the same graphics as mk1matts', but is in the satin silver that is also mentioned...
Can anyone date it by frame number?
And if anyone has those decals that would be awesome too!

These are the ones from ebay....

I can do some close ups if need be tomorrow...

yours will be about 2000 onwards . you have the APS v mounts that can enable 26" or 24" wheels or just remove them if using the disc . also the hose guides under the top tube

ill get around to emailing dmr and prying a timeline out of them one day . might make an effort to over the weekend

some scans of the stickers would be great , they changed over the years so its not as easy as buying them new . might ask if dmr has any old ones kicking about , unlikely but worth a try

Cheers for that.... sounds similar to what I thought - the 24" wheel thing hasn't been around toooooo long after all. I'm going to Esher this weekend with a group of mates, one of whom rides with a fella from DMR so might ask him to nicely to have a look about for decals if possible...

that would be cool , they changed the one on the toptube the most :(

its about time the trailstar had a revamp , it doesnt really fit into the line up very well

It'll certainly be nice to see if any decals are still available for the trailstar, have only seen them for the other frames in the range.

I'd be up for replicating some if theres no joy (minus print side of things) they wouldn't be too difficult to reproduce accurately. Just need some good images to work from and the correct scale required, especially that top tube section decal.

Thought id have a try at rendering one of the older decals found in this catalogue scan to see how it would turn out..

great scan :D

clears up something i had been wondering , ie why i had been seeing various frames with and without the bottle/crud mounts

thats the earliest one they did , likely to be 97 . note the headtube sticker instead of the badge . the lack of a disc mount and it was before the vertical dropout option
