Disc Drive woes

Socks (and misplelling of disk drive aside) looks like the rebuilt has worked OK this far.

Took it out for a spin locally and then on the Thetford meet. Neither ride is especially rough but equally the wheel stayed spot on which is an improvement. No idea if I've built it tight enough, certainly tighter than it was although Dan aka Cannondale King who's built a couple reckons he'd built them tighter...

I end up tweaking mine after every ride or so, its tough to tell what tension you have, but hey, its cool so dont stress

The only thing you need to know is that they are the coolest thing ever, just behind Jonny T and JMC. The fact they they are ruinously expensive, potentially a nightmare to build and make a lot of noise is completely beside the point.

I'd have one on every bike I have, but I'd have to sell the house first!
