Im in a quandary.
I have 3 Hope Bulb shells and 2 ratchet rings and 2 freehub's. Which hubs get the rings/freehubs and get built up.
2 of them are silver 6 bolt the other a red 5 bolt. The two 6 bolt are new and the 5 bolt is a 2nd
Ive built up one of the 6 bolts and was thinking of building the other as the red 5 bolt has a bit of damage from the previous owner clamping the body in a vice :facepalm: That was apparently to remove the ratchet ring so the hub was suppose to be a spare or something. In all honesty its not bad and could be hidden with a bit of red marker and i know the alloy at that point is about 8mm thick so not structural .
The ano on it is still strong and as luck would have it i picked up a new 5 bolt bulb front that was faded and is now bare with the intention for having it ano'd red.
If i ano the front and build up the rear i get a pair of 5 bolt in red 32/36h which would be nice to add to the other Hope hub pairs i have, but i could also build up the other 6 bolt as the shell is new and sell it to buy, yup more hope bits

The fitting of the ratchet ring would decide as when it goes in it goes in permanently and theres pretty no way to get a fitted one out without the proper tool, and im not sure ive ever heard of something like that.
But a pair of very nice 5 bolts and ive all the other bits,spiders lockrings and rotors to go with them .Although that said i would also need to be sure i could get the front ano's red to match :?
