Differences between Klein sizes over the years

Dirt Disciple
Hey guys,
My height is 5'8", and these days I'm searching the web for a Klein Attitude or Adroit.
I've noticed that in the Klein catalogues the recommended MC1 frames suggested for my height are the S size (19") and that in the later MC2 frames the suggested size is M (20").
Does that make sense? Would a 96' Adroit or Attitude in size 20" fit someone who's 5'8"?

Thanks!

Re:

Medium in either MC1 or MC2 ought to fit you just fine. You can probably ride an S if you prefer a smaller hike you can really throw around.

If you are 5'8", S might be the right size for you. Depending on the length and elevation of the stem of course.

Still, there are some differences in measurements depending on the production year so you might want to check out this tech manual that contains these measurements if I remember correctly.

The best way to find out is still to try one for yourself before buying.

Re:

I'm 5'10 and have ridden an S/19" for over 20 years, I like a smaller frame for off road purposes but prefer a M/20" on road, not what their intended for of course. At 5'8 you may even possibly find an XS a good fit, you need to try them out if possible, good luck! :D
