Have been watching the total number of users online recently. Has been close to the old record of 487 on several occasions in the last few weeks.

Think the record was due to the picture of Edwards on the front page - apparently he can generate quite a 'stir' in special interest circles.

Maybe it was just a busy day. Start of the week is always busiest and traffic is generally trending up with the better weather. Also the user number was slightly capped before due to the "cannot connect" error which I've now mostly fixed.

Alternately it could be we were getting spidered by a couple fo search engines.


Most likely a combo of all 3 above.
