just been a measured mine,
can only find mechanical verniers, but I'm getting 27.2
I was pretty sure mine was a '92... I bought it secondhand in '94... but it may not be... but it is red/black splatter (there is a photo on here somewhere)

mine came just as a frame and forks....
but the cables run down the downtube... so I guess it is a '92
the verniers aren't great, just rechecked and getting 27 now :roll: but it is a bit cooler, so the metal would have contracted
(found my digital verniers... but the batterys dead!)
so in conclussion... don't believe my measurements
