Great stuff! It's no secret I like Diamond Back's. I've got one of these framesets in the queue for a build at some point. I find it a bit ironic you've fitted Suntour hubbed wheels, seeing as they aren't as common as Shimano hubs & shouldn't really be compatible either.

Re Compatible components - Didn't really consider that there would be any issues and this was based on the parts being manufactured at roughly the same time and being the same speed.

Hubs - XC Pro. (Not sure on the make of cassette)
FD & RD - DX 650.
Thumbies - XC Pro SL-XP00
 
Lovely bike. The frame looks identical to my DB Sorrento which I bought in 1992. Mine was a plain red colour but I like the finish on yours. Nice to see it pictured in its natural environment, too.
