Diamondback 1989 Apex/Axis

I know, it's a very long shot but I had one of these originally and it was stolen. For me it's the best mtb I've ever owned & I've missed it dearly since the day it was gone.
It's the one with the smoke effect it also had the wrap around 'bar ends' (not that they were ends as they wrapped around).

Hopefully someone has one or can find one, ideally it'd be in original spec (stop laughing, it might happen).

Unfortunately, it has to be the '89 version with the smoke effect to rekindle my youth......
Alas your frame is 17" which is 3"'s too small

It does also say in the ad that it is less than 5 years old? :?

The Bike is a 1989 DB Apex and appears to have all original components except for tires and bar-ends. These come-up very rarely--ssk the seller to ship to you.

Waiting for a response, otherwise I'll have to find someone in the US who will buy it for me, I'm just trying not to get my hopes up too much as I definitely want _that_ back. I've been looking for a long time for this spcific bike, and, like you say these come up very rarely. I wonder if he'd ship to Vancouver, got a good friend there.
