Love this project! Really inspiring. As someone else said it's great to see the garage queens with their trick bits but there's something just as cool about building a klunker to roll around on.
Any more pics of the progress?

thanks street. apreciate it. no more pictures as yet but i am aiming to have this rideable by sunday night ( i use the term rideable very losely).

i'll add some pics when there's something to see. thanks for the interest, dave

actual tangible progress!

mounted the tyres on the rims, fitted the headset and fork (cheers lgf) offered up the steerer extender and stem.

very pleased to see that there is a tiny bit of clearance between the fork blades and rear stays and the tyres.

also offered up a raceface tandem chainring and i think i can make it work.

i have started to flat the paintwork off too. dont want it loooking too nice now do we...

Loving this build!

The brown with chrome forks looks good!

And that slate grey one posted by DrS, I`d ride it! ;)

then nip down the shop on the cruiser

Tony....

Cheers mate. I'm really looking forward to cruising down cleethorpes prom with the wife on her felt cruiser and the dogs running along.

That looks sweet young man!

I'm going to have to crack on with my new cruiser build. :D

cheers al. pretty close to getting done but my wheels need a fine tune - there isnt enough clearance in the stays/fork to allow for my shoddy wheel building!

whats your next build?
