Diamond Back Axis 1991, 18” frame and complete original equipment (almost). It seems to have had virtually no use and to have been stored in a nice dry place for the last twenty years. There is a good layer of dust and grime, but cleaning and re-greasing this bike is going to be a real treat.
XT throughout except the pedals which are Deore2. Avenir bars, seatpost, and black rims. FlexStem , 2.1 Smokes.
The saddle cover is coming apart, and there is a small section of rub to the decals to one side where possibly strapped to a bike carrier, but apart from this it is in remarkable condition.
I was offered this but don’t have the space so am posting it up in the hope that it will find a good home, be kept together, and get ridden.
Price is £185 excluding postage, but I’ll be at the Peaks ride on September 10th so can bring it along for transporting on .
