Hi

Ive just picked this up for 90 quid - given the spec it seems a good buy, but Im trying to find out a bit more about it....

I know they are canadian, and looking at their site, are quite high end nowadays - but can I find anything about it?!?! cant even find a model name!!

Its got a full XT groupset apart form what looks like a replacement deore rear brake and front wheel - its a mavic 218 rim with a ''patriot' hub - no Ive not heard of them! It has an XTR rear mech too that may not be original.

It has carbon fibre bars by the looks of it...

not sure what chainset it is but the rings have 'Black Spire' engraved in them.

Ive added some pics hope they help anyone shed any info?!

yeh Ive mailed them to see if they have any info on it.... no reply yet....fingers crossed... we're off up to the lakes for a week tomorrow so Ill be able to give it a test out at Whinlatter!!

oooh... ill have a closer inspection tomorrow - it does look like someones had a go at polishing the arms, which is a shame.... ill see if there are any stamps on them tomoz....

It looks like a 2000 Devinci Moonracer to me. It would have originally come with a blue SID fork and a mix of xt/xtr and Titec components.

ooh you guys are goood!!! ive just had a google and looks exactly the same at teh rear...holes near the dropouts, frame 'splays' (wrong word i know!), decals on rear etc.... wow.... happy then if it is! lets hope it rides well tomorrow!!
