Ok, thanks Jonnyboy666.

The reason I ask is that I opened a number of topics relating to items I was selling on ebay and as these are now sold it seemed sensible to delete these as they are no longer relevant (or particularly interesting!)

If the stuff is sold, just edit the title to something like "Now Sold, please Delete" People will either ignore it, or one of the mods will delete it, eventually. Either way it's not worth worrying about anymore.

Cool - Thanks - I will do that!

No, you just add SOLD to the topic title and leave it.

You've been a member since 2008 and you say you didn't know .................

The Rules are on display in a BIG yellow box at the top of every Sale/Wanted section ............

;)

Re:

The reason why we ask to simply add "SOLD" to the topic title, is because the topic can then be used fro future reference. It allows other members to see what certain items usually sell for, so they can set a reasonable price when they want to sell theirs.

Of course prices tend to fluctuate and there are quite a few rare (or even one-off) parts being traded here , but for most parts the old sales topics still give a good estimate of the item's value.

I've never ever used or even been in the Sale/Wanted section........ at least, not with the intention of buying or selling. So never looked for rules....
