I'm a Middleburn man myself, but the WI Eno cranks are gorgeous and if I didn't want to support British business they are what I would go for.

Same goes for hubs with Phil or WI being top of the list, but behind Hope for the same reasons.

As for your brakes, I love the look of the Onzas. Brings back memories of lusting after them in my youth, but struggle to cope with cantis these days in use unfortunately. :cry:

Looking forward to seeing what you go for in the end. Sure it will be a stunner though.

I would go for hope, i've used their Pro2 SS hub before. The one thing that puts me off is its disc mount....

Nice, I'm a big fan of Trailrakers, for a 'mud' tyre, they work remarkably well all year round.

Rims, my current favourites are Mavic XC 717's, they build into a nice, rigid wheel that is not carrying too much weight.

Good choice of components.. a tuning fork would look better though
for singlespeed I would go for a somewhat later version of the middleburn crank

Got the forks back from the powder coaters (cheers Tim, awesome as always!)

A nice gloss black, and not a bad weight. Should get a bit lighter once i've trimmed the long steerer.
