I just like doing things a bit differently to the run-of-the-mill "go into a shop and buy a new Specialised (or whatever)" guy. Buying a bike "off the peg" just wouldn't do it for me - I'm not that fussed about having to have new things. I rather like to own objects that have lived a bit (like me really..)
