Im just about to switch from grip shift to 'normal' so these maybe not be suitable,I read in the dukes thread on the subject last week

Well I have them fitted with thumb shifters no problem ? anyway up to you chap..

I am using later type trigger shifters with push thumb and finger pull. . . If that makes sense. I personally just get a v slight impedance on the finger trigger which you reach from over the bar. It is only v slight tbh. These are great levers. Hope that clarifies!
