I've realised my BOTM campaign mirrored Paula Radcliffe's championship performances at 10k on the track - initial commanding performance establishes a good base from which to win, still very much in contention in at the end but lack of finishing power sees being overhauled in sight of the finish and fading to a disappointing fourth.

I could make comments about stopping for a wee at the roadside halfway but feel that's beneath me.
