Looks legit to me; you can contact people at Dean still, if you'd like more info..
Serial numbers are somewhat mysterious: it seems there’s sizing info in there more than year of manufacture.

But then, I'm not an expert

Just some more questions, why is it that the down tube Dean decal's color look different from all the rest? Is it some kinda custom 1s & not original Dean?

Looks like a 94-5 Dean Colonel.

I believe those downtube decals are Dean's road variation. Maybe the original owner got a decal replacement or something BiTD.
