ddg hubs and araya rims with vertical hop / dent

Hi.. I bought a pair of very nice looking set of ddg hubs, laced to araya rims from eBay recently...

They both appear to have a vertical 'hop' when spun... they are true against the brake blocks though and the hub bearing are very smooth...
The rim don't look dented, but the hop is noticeable...
Is this something that can be corrected with spoke tension or should I look for eBay redress?

i dont follow what you mean? are the wheels out of round (slightly oval?)

if so, it's easy enough to tweak out with some spoke key action.

Hi, sorry it was the vertical true I meant - didn't know the correct term!

I think my question is answered now by a quick Google...
