DBS Daccordi La Migliore

Retro Newbie
Hello! My first post here!
Just bought this nice bike. Have looked for a nice steel bike with brifters for a while. It´s imported by the Norwegian bike brand DBS from Daccordi. And as to what I read this bike is the equivalent to the Daccordi Turbo model. It has a Columbus SLX frame.

Sadly the owner before the guy I bought it from "upgraded" it from 8s to 9s, with Tiagra/105 components. So it's no longer complete Dura-Ace.
Stem, handlebar and saddle is not original either.

Wheels: Rim: Sun M14a Hubs: Dura-Ace 7403(?)
Frame: Columbus SLX
Crankset: Dura-Ace 7402(?)
Headset: Dura-Ace
Brakes: Dura-Ace (74xx)
Front D: Tiagra
Rear D: 105
Shifters: Tiagra
Pedals: Dura-Ace 7401
Seatpost: Dura-Ace

Would anybody here know what year this bike is from?

The seatpost is too short, so I will be selling that one later on.

It's from the 1990s I guess but I don't know anything about Shimano components so can't be more precise.

If that seatpost is too short then the frame is too small for you.

Mark.

I think around early 90s, as far as I could tell be the parts.

But the seatpost is super tiny. 135mm from maximum mark to the the rails.
Google road bike and look at images and try to find a proper road bike that has a visible seatpost adjusted shorter than 135mm. Im 192cm tall and the frame is 60cm, anything larger then that and it feels like im cycling an upright grandpa bike. I had a 63cm bike once, and I did not like it. (and the visible seatpost was still longer than 135mm, so then I guess I need a 70cm bike)

This is an amazing frame but, like others said, make sure it fits you.
It just need another saddle and a full Campagnolo groupset IMO.

My guess is that your bike is a bit into the nineties, maybe around 95. (I base this on the color scheme and decals) This Daccordi La Migliore's rides very vell. Here is mine viewtopic.php?f=23&t=345773 I am 1,89 tall and my bike is a 58 C-C and suits me just fine, I ride anything between 57 to 60
