To put that into perspective ,the one I bought in '89 was £1000.Japanese.
The new one is a 'nod' to the ''90 model.They were Tiawanese by then.
One has been spotted recently around the Wigan area.Some guy leaves it chained to the railings in the town centre.At the time i thought the dayglo colours wouldnt 'age ' as well.In a way I was right .I think my black and white smoke one looks very contemorary ,that said ,lime green's of a time ,and kinda cool too.

'MY' white/smoke frame,with early Rock shox.
Interestingly,to me anyway ,I've just noticed ,it has 'True Temper ' H/bars in a very noticeable bright colour.
In 90 they had switched from Tange Prestige to TT tubing.
The 'Harry Leary' one I've got came with flouro pink TT bars.Totally at odds with the colour scheme.I was thinking it must've been a sponsor thing.
If Suzy's running them as well that would make sense.

If only mine had come with the rockshox....

My back /shoulders/neck might not be as bad right now. Hmm

Incidentally.Dirt on that 'japan' pic. That's Cali' dirt ,that is. fresh out the box.
Right now it has rivi dirt on it .
