It is/was a great quality bike and harder to find with the rigid forks. Hard to tell from the photos but if it still has the original parts they should be good too, XT mostly. Just check for stuck seatpost and stem. And at least it’s not in bristol….

Looks a good size. I'd be very tempted if it was closer to me.
If Dawes is your bag there is also this 1995 Off Limits, which looks in very good shape... only 100 bucks as well.

Update: bought the Trek 990 and a Kona Hahanna. Will give them both a ride and see which one I’m liking more before swapping parts out
