Dawes Sardar - expedition bike

A scaled down Dalesman or Royal etc, they were definitely not mtb and were designed to be heavily laden and so behaved better when loaded

A bit like me

Out of interest is there a thread here for expedition bikes?
I dont know, but there should be....might show the world that there is a use for 26" !

I think that's why its not sold...everyone immediately sees 26" and assumes it a crap childs bike in these modern times.

All because my 5' Nephew needs full suspension and 29" wheels on his ride to school...🤣🙄

Awkward looking (to modern eyes) 15 year old bike from a brand with middling recognition with low key look to it and no postage. It looks nothing special to untrained eyes, which is of course what you want from a expedition bike. But all of the wannabe expedition types nowadays are probably riding gravel bikes nowadays with frame bags.
