Dawes Ranger

I've got a couple of these beauties in the collection. Totally love them.

I've got one which is in original condition and one which I've set up with a Sram i9 hub gear for round town.

They are such a laid back ride, they just make you smile away the miles

Well, I hope it went to someone here. I did pop a last minute bid in - but I was only half hoping I'd get it as I've just got a new frame for building up.

Hopefully, there'll be another at some point.

Are they original bars or are these?

I think the stem/bars pictured on the previous page are the originals - as they are same as the one I had.

It's possible that ad is for a later version as the pedals look different too.

Re: Original spec

Both the Rangers I owned came with a double golf club stem, even though they were built a few years apart. They also had the unusual sliding seat pillar which allowed horizontal adjustment, fore and aft.
If I've still got the parts somewhere in the garage, they're available for the cost of postage
