bought this a while back for spares towards a n other project now that project is finished its time for this to go .
its a 40 ish yr old 1 owner from new low miles covered Dawes Medalion , 22 1/4" sized lugless frame finished in burnt orange and emerald green with chromed headstock lugs !!
paint work is scruffy and useable being honest , cleanish 27 x 1 1/4" chromed wheels which are not a matched pr , needs tyres . Continental branded chromed cottered crank set with 165 mm arms no pedals . fr gear lever is operated by a screwdriver pushed into the remains of original lever , rr mech is huret unit , 5 speed fairly close ratio block in light use condition .
weinmann 610 & 750 centre pull calipers (no cables included) fr & rr operated by unbranded levers fitted on to what i can only describe as nearly north road bars and 55 mm sr stem . Marten courier sprung saddle and clean free to move stem . frame no stamped on rr drop out looks to be HS2343
please note no pedals OR brake cables included in sale and bike has not been used for at least 10 years .
would make a good easy project for someone asking £45 would prefer collection from nn8 Wellingborough post code as local box source has dried up , but if i can source box would post for an extra £21.50 .
