Dirt Disciple
Hi there,
Just seeing if anybody is interested in my Tandem:
It's a Dawes Kick Back 2 in 20/18 (C-T Measurements). Suitable for Riders of 5ft8in - 6ft2in and Stokers from 5ft4in up.
I have just taken some pictures of the bike in general and also the areas that I would consider less than perfect or corroded.
It has some corrosion on the handlebars - will replace these if the deal is right - and some surface corrosion/wear on the paint on the marathon and down tube from where a kiddy seat was fitted.

The only thing that is in the picture that you won't get is the lock.
Rack, lights and pump mounts are included, as are the X-lite bar ends and top quality stoker bars.
I used to sell these when I worked in my last job, so any advice you need, I'm sure I can help.

It's located in Redditch, Worcs.

Looking for £250 ono or would swap with cash either way potentially for an STi equipped Road bike in 56cm.

Thanks
Grant

These are great machines - I own two of them for the family and did the Devon C2C a few weeks ago with 6 year old stoking and 3 year old in the trailer...

Glad to see you've fitted V's as with Cantis they are a bit alarming...

BTW, do you know when they changed the frames from 531 to 501: mine are identical but one is 531 and other 501...? :?

Hi
That's a good question on the 501/531 issue.
I believe it was 1992/1993, but can't remember for sure.
I worked part time in a Dawes main dealer back in 91/92 and they were 531 then.
Went back to work for them in 1996 full time and they were 501 by then!
To be honest there's not much in it between 501 and 531 IMO - at least not that you can tell on a Tandem.
