That brings back memories! That was my very first proper road bike when I started riding, bought in about 1989 or 1990 I think. Not this very one, obviously - mine ended up losing against a car in 1994

This one looks pretty much all original though, right down to the very uncomfortable dawes saddle and the rubber grips on the gear levers!

Completely original apart from the wheels and the bottle cage. All the colour matched green/grey Exage gubbins but the rubber grips on the brake levers have started to decompose a bit. Even the tyres are vintage!
