Dawes Galaxy last year of production in the UK?

I have tried googling no avail. so....which year heralded the end for the brit built Dawes Galaxy?

Any takers?

Not entirely sure, I believe it may have been sometime in the 90's. They used to be based in Tysely here in Brum but relocated to nearby Erdington.

Brooks are based in Brum aswell, they still manufacture here. Tysely used to be full of factories for bikes and bits.

My recollection is around 2000, but I'm not sure.
