Dirt Disciple
Here for sale is my beloved Dawes Galaxy. Its from the early eighties and is handbuilt with reynolds 531 st tubing throughout. I've updated the contact points (seat, seatpost, saddle, bartape, hoods and pedals) and fitted new chain, pads etc so fully serviced and ready for touring, commuting etc. Paintwork is in fair condition, not ready for a refinish just yet. small dent on the top tube but nothing serious.
All in all a classic and dependable daily commute and has been to france twice this year with me and toured comfortably and turned a few heads as well!
Frame (medium=to suit riders 5'6-6'ft) Reynolds 531 super touring double butted tubes main frame and forks.
crankset= stronglight compact 44/32
headset= Hatta swan
wheelset= maillard/ rigida
Stem/bars= original GB
groupset=suntour levers and derailleurs
