I choose the colour completely by chance and by shear flukey luck it matches almost exactly, I used white primer and at first it looked to light but a few more layers and a perfect match.

Wheel colour

I picked up some White Bro forks and some mavic Citroen on XT/parellex.

Excuse the mess and god awful pics but it was raining cats, frogs and dogs and every other thing

Will clean up the cleaning cloths, marg tub (which had a chain in tommrow)

So do the Mavic Sup Citroen go with candy red.

Pics are awful, but was a case of quick snap so not to get camera wet.

Not yet EB, Iv'e only just fitted the forks and wheels which I got from Tom (CTK).

Fitted Some Silver Avid cantilever's in NOS, but now need to get a cable hanger in black or silver, Fitted a new XT rear mech, need to set this up, before it's rideable, I see no reason, pending cable hanger, why I shouldn't be riding it in a couple of weeks so watch this space.

BTW I have been out riding the Dawes before the Resurrection and it rode beautifully and is the best fitting of all my bikes. Although the FSR is getting close.

Build Completed for now 12/11/2010

Happy with this build at the moment.

Might add a few bits, Have a XT C/set to go on at some point but need a 22.5 BB, so will have to wait.

I have added some new wheels.

Avid Canti, & 1 finger Canti levers (polished) to match bars and stem.

Some bling H/Set spacers.

New Chain Thanks Masker!. & to the chap who gave me a top cap for stem

Looks good with the P2s Nick. I think a better choice than any suspension fork on this bike.

Re: Resurrection part 1.. Paint

Started on the nasty surface rust around the front cable bosses today, Rust treated, primed and painted.

You killed the framework by using a Flex and some people find that well? :roll:

You know the wall thickness of such a framework?

This framework is only suited for the garbage.

Such a shame.

Update 26/01/2011 Best of British

What utter crap Daniel. I have only treated the surface rust on an overwise mint paintwork.

The maintube is solid as a rock and the paintwork virtually as good as it left the factory.

Anyway a small update Best of British Limited San Marco Saddle fitted.

Limted edition and lighter than a Flite.

Titanium. Hope you all like
