I’m new here and haven’t seen to many Dawers bikes on here so here is mine, she’s not much, but i like it.
I was have a good clear out and came across my old Dawers Synthesis 1993 I think. It had had a hard life then left to rot in the back yard for the last 6 years. My wife said it had to go to the tip, but I just couldn’t do it.
So I striped it all down jumped on the net looked up powder coaters, found one not too far from me ( Grip sport ) chose a colour and left it with them. I cleaned up the stem, handlebars, gripshift, seat post, bar ends and wheels ordered the rest of the stuff new ( Deore all-round ). Two weeks later the frame was ready, spent the rest of the day putting her back together and this is what she looks like now. It now rides better than it did new.
I now have a 1995 Giant ATX 890 I’m working on.
I only found this site a few weeks ago when looking for some STX rc Shifters I needed also just found the stem I needed for ATX as well
