It's a lovely frame. But if you the complete bike as it is then keep it as is. After all it's your bike. Ride and enjoy.
:D

Still not sure what to do need more info guys. What kind of money are we talking for frame and parts stripped down or complete bike? I know it would make it more saleable just don't know what is best.

We can't give valuations except on the 'what's my X worth?' thread, but as a general principle you're going to take a big hit if you haven't got time to do any work on it.

People on here obviously point to the different vintages of the parts, but a mainstream eBay buyer is going to be more concerned about the lack of a front brake. Not that it's difficult to rig up a disc brake, but the great majority of eBay buyers want to buy a finished article, not a work in progress.

In general, any bike with decent parts is worth c 50% more split up than as a complete bike. In this case, I would raise that to twice as much.

If you do split it, I would take up orange 71's suggestion and contact Dave Yates with the serial number and a photo of the frame. It should sell well on here with all its details established, including build date. It's a very good frame. Columbus Max is an excellent, expensive tubeset, and Yates is a top craftsman.
