Dave Quinn MTB + Campagnolo = sexy times

Don't know much about Dave Quinn frames, but handmade British steel bike made from Reynolds 753 + dripping in full Campagnolo Euclid groupset (double U to boot!) and possibly a Campagnolo saddle (look on eBay for the price on them!) = a very desirable bike IMO. Also super original/unmolested condition.
I Know, but people keep insinuating that there's a history to the bike. I love a story behind a bike.

Quite rightly everyone is talking about the tubing and groupset, beyond that though it's just a lovely looking utilitarian bike, looks ideal for commuting, touring or just bimbling about on in all weathers and conditions.
Does look like a lovely bike to ride!

I know I mentioned Tony Oliver, but I don’t see why it should have been built by him any more than Dave Quinn. Quinn lived in Wales at one point and was based nearby in Liverpool, he was also an accredited 753 builder and would have built whatever you wanted if you paid! Tony Oliver would have been more experimental with frame design and kit for his own bike too, he was a big proponent of the extended frame seat tube. I also think the saddle is an Iscaselle. Anyway, either way its a really cool bike and a great buy!

(Frame number should sort it too - Q to start with if Quinn, and I think a year followed by numbers if TO - assume 88/90?)

Just my tuppence like.

Love this thread! Lots of rumouring, speculation and anticipation (@sunympholepsy anticipation must be going through the roof!!!) and the bike has yet to be collected and we’re already 8 pages deep... All great stuff! 😀😍😎
