Re forks, Chicken do a decent range of carbon ones -

and I've just put a new 'bar and stem on my Bianchi - white tape!

Jon.

NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. !

Personally, I'd go for steel if available. The idea of steel frame and carbon forks, makes the colour drain from my cheeks!

Mike

I would too, but...the reason I posted the link (help OP) is I have a rather special steel frame with no fork, so was thinking carbon fork painted to match frame...who'd know ?

You sure I didn't upset you with the thought of white tape on my Bianchi ?

Jon.

Re:

Not at all.

In fact, it would go with my Gatorade get up!

Anyway, back to the Lloyd.

Thanks for the link, but as far as I can see none of those forks are available in 650C, so I think the BLB forks are the current best option.

Re:

No, I have a couple of big orders to place; tyres, chainrings, cassette, chain, brake calipers, forks, headset, bottle cages, bar tape (white, of course) and cables.

I've been putting it off as I know the minute I have it all ordered I will think of something else.

I also need to do a bit more work on the seat tube, as at present the seatpost is not wanting to go in very far.

After that I need to find bars and stem and brake levers.
