Hi folks

my early 90's cats wiskas is for sale for £450ono. she needs some attention to the hope disc brake as i couldn't source the pads and a new cable is needed for the front mech.

she is the original cats wiskas used by dave as the prototype. the front triangle was replaced at daves workshop and hence the colours change as seen from the promo shots.

hardly been used for the last 10years apart from taking out the kids tag a long but i am looking to get back into cycling

Perhaps my next collection could be pairing the Dogs bolx up with a catswiskas and a donkisnob

Seems funny seeing it again after all these years,I originally bought this bike from Dave after the article in (and here's where it goes fuzzy)MBUK? would have been around 93ish? I remember the elastomersin the RC35's were something akin to concreteand my first disc brake ,would have been better sticking my feet down !! still cost me £1200 then! and to think I swapped it for a KHS Montana Pro :shock:

great to hear from a previous owner, i bought the frame from king street cycles in wallasey.
its still on the wirral hence why i could take it in to dave for the repair, kinda gutted i didn't respray in the original paint though.
think it was the first disc brake i had seen.

I used to ride for King Street Cycles back in the day !! fancy them buying it must have been not long before they closed .As otherwise I would have seen it there I'm still on the Wirral too,pm me sometime and we'll try and arrange a ride

Pads for the cable calipers are CFA248 - look at the drawing to confirm - the photo is rarely accurate.
