Great advert. I used to pop into Horsewills Cycles in Bournemouth all the time. I either never saw a Lloyd or was suitably distracted by dayglow Alpinestars. Thinking about it, I never could have afforded one anyway...

I liked that too. Lloyd wasn't the only one to desperately try and get the "HANDBUILT in ENGLAND" point across, in the face of Far east imports- this of course included Orange Bikes......A very sore point for many builders. (Overburys et al)
