Definately think a time-limit's the way to go though - but spare a thought for those of us working Saturday & Sunday in a vain attempt to clamber out of bike-induced financial ruin...

Agreed. I would just re-list everything split and say the first to pay wins. You haven't offered dibs as an option anyway so don't feel like to honour it just because people have called it. Half the people who call dibs end up being timewasters anyway.

This is sad Messiah, first bike on the site I fell in love with.... If I was rich and all that... I even have a colour matching same era disc brake to go with it.. :cry:

It would have been good to get it to some kind of meet before it gets split; but it's always been about the fun of the ride, and I've really enjoyed the search for those fractional improvements and elusive finishing touches.

It's been a lot of fun but it's time to move on.

If the £800 seems steep you could PM me a figure and I'm willing to think about what bits I could keep to get it to that price - I'd really like to see it go complete to someone on here.
