Date this GT?

I was poking around Craig's List and spotted this GT: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/bik/2034099177.html. I don't know much about them, as I was retiring from the sport about the time they were coming in. I'm guessing late '80s, though. Anybody have more knowledge? Thanks!

Thanks for identifying the bike, folks! It's not old enough for me to go for it. If someone else is interested, let me know as the seller is in my town and I would happily help with the arrangements.

Also just spotted a restorable '40s-vintage Schwinn Cycletruck with mostly original equipment: fenders, wheels, nameplate, stem, center stand, and probably chainguard. No basket mounts, but I believe modern Worksman are interchangeable. It has been repainted. Fellow wants $500, though, which is out of my budget. Hoping for negotiation...
