Hi, im just asking for my girlfriends lad who is 12 and weighs about 6 stone or 38kg. can these forks be set up for this kind of weight?

Will winding the preload adjuster on the top all the way back not suffice not sure if you can get softer spring/s for them

I've set the preload to the softest and he says it is a lot better. Not too much sag either so maybe this is enough. Still not sure what gauge spring is in them though but he seems happy so all's well in the camp. Thanks

Exellent. The sag should be around 25% to 33% of the fork travel with him sat on the bike this can be checked by putting a zip tie on one of the fork lags with it fully extended then get him to carefully sit on it in his riding position and that will slide the zip tie up the leg and when he gets off show you the sag.
