Damaged Bianchi road bike on Ebay

Just seen this on the bay and might have a bid:

I don't think the frame damage should be any more than cosmetic - or is it? Let me know what you think.....

Is the dent where it says via nirone?
Im inclined to agree with you but ide be worried about that crack in the paint on the top tube.

Bear in mind he was probably hit before being pushed along.

Is it carbon? If it is could you get someone to x ray it?

I'll see how the bidding goes. If price is ok then worse case scenario is that frame needs replacing and I still have the rest.

Like your Xray idea! Amazingly, Mrs Daddy Pig IS a radiographer, but she doesnt really do stuff that isnt living & breathing.

The Via Nirone 7 with the Sora groupset is a hydroformed aluminium frame, as the models in the range get better, all that changes is the groupset. With the 105 and Veloce gears they get carbon fibre rear stays, so the components might be suitable for another frame if the price was right.
