I did think that - but then if it turned out this guy's e3 was just what I was looking for, there would be a part of my that was somewhat disappointed my project had been made easier than originally expected!

But then again, I could ride that in the meantime and keep my eye out for a replacement frame to stick all my spare bits to at a later date...

The very E3 frameset referred to earlier in this thread is for sale. Been in the loft since I bought it back. 19" with new decals by gil. Frame and forks, headset, bb, orange stem snd seatpost. £140 collected.

Thats very nice,I never get tired of seeing shiny things.Id love to have a crack at wheel building but keep bottling it
