I read once on a swan forum that they hate cyclists on footpaths

I wouldn't be surprised if swans basically hate anything that isn't likely to throw a few rounds of stale Hovis their way....

Squirrels
..and piggin' Swans with a penchant for chasing me along the riverbank footpath.. (I wouldnt mind but I'm usually knckered when I get to the 'swan zone' and the sods show no mercy. )
