I’m finding myself increasingly returning to buying a CX bike, now they have disc brakes and better tyres I think it’s a goer.

Quite like these but I have a question
I’ve got a lovely modern XT triple and matching front mech, how much of a balls is it regarding the sram compatibility

Very. Double is doable with some finessing and judicious use of stop screws and lever clicks etc.

Triple is a world of pain (even when trying to get road and MTB shimano to play with each other)
