So, due to the curve on my sts frame I can't get the joplin in far enough for a comfy position. Can I lop off a few cm from the bottom without worrying too much?
Looking at the exploded diagrams, it looks like the end of the post is threaded to take an endstop of some sort. So i'd guess no is the answer you were looking for.
There's nothing threaded at the bottom, the air valve assembly is the first thing inside the post from the bottom and starts at about 4-5 cm from the bottom.
Fingers crossed as I got an itchy trigger finger and did it anyway. Once the remote lever has arrived I'll post some pics of my parts bin sts (aside from the dropper post and lever and 2m of gear cable).
